Frequently Asked Questions

A urologist is a specialised doctor who can treat diseases and conditions related to the male and female urinary tract (kidneys, ureters, bladder and urethra) and male reproductive organs (prostate, penis, scrotum, testicles).

You should see a urologist if you:

  • Have blood in your urine
  • Experience urinary incontinence
  • Recently had an elevated PSA test
  • Have problems associated with your urination
  • Have had problems with kidney stones
  • Have had an abnormal prostate exam
  • Experience a kidney abnormality
  • Are experiencing infertility (for any reason)
  • Have a testicular mass or pain
  • Have recurrent urinary tract infections (UTI)

Many insurance companies  require a referral from a GP for members to see a urologist.  Check with your insurance company if you have any questions.

To make an appointment to see a urologist, call Pacific Urology Centre at 230 0350 or email us at pacificurologycentre@gmail.com
